Medicross Farrarmere

Good morning All;

Where do I start?

A big THANK YOU out of the bottom of our hearts to FARRARMERE MEDICROSS and its personnel.

On Saturday 25/01/2025 my Daughter Liana was involved in an Incident on the Hockeyfield At Highschool Hugenote Springs. She received a head-injury and required immediate attention. An Ambulance was more than 15minutes away, if the Paramedic onsite could be believed, and she was not capable to assist in this trauma. I took it on myself to rush my child to Lynmed Hospital, but the receiving Staff at the time was more bothered about Administrative issues and payments, and not really worried about my Child lapsing in & out of consciousness, waiting for a Doctor & Administration to sort payments before they can care for my child.

After a direct call to One-Insurance they said Farrarmere Medicross was an approved Service Provider, I took my Child and rushed there.

Farrarmere Staff immediately received my child & care was instant stabilising my Child. Vitals were taken, and EKG coupled, & a Drip started, as well as Oxygen was immediately supp**** and then only were they worried about Admin. Needless to point out, they actually are not an Emergency Room/Ward, but care was instantaneous. I need to highlight the following 4 persons on their Staff, Dr.M.Ngodweni, Dr.M Kabila, Sister Rene Jacobs & Sister M. Carstens. ABSOLUTE STARS!! Keeping me calm,where I was in turmoil and out of my head with worry, giving care to my Daughter immediately. Dr Ngodweni then leaving my daughters care in Dr. Kabila’s capable hands, immediately got on the phone with One-insurance, to get my Daughter transferred to the nearest Hospital for a CAT-Scan & X-rays. This turned out to be Lynmed again!? They did not stop there, they called Lynmed and ensured that before my Daughter goes back there, that she will be received by a Doctor, and Emergency Staff, and that the MRI & Xray’s will be done expediently, they arranged an Ambulance with 911, and special thanks to Alex, Morne, and unfortunately I did not get the Lady’s name, this Ambulance Team also ensured Lynmed is ready to receive them with my Daughter.

Back to Lynmed and the rest followed then without complications.

FARRARMERE Staff – Thank You from the bottom of my heart. My Family is in your Dept. The follow-up Calls Saturday & Sunday to ensure all went well and that my Daughter is OK, means the world to Us. I told everyone and anyone who would listen about this phenomenal Team.
