Medicross Edenvale - Accounts Department Records in a state of Chaos !

For the last year, I have received threatening calls and messages from a debt collection agency VERICRED - Ref ***. for an amount of R1270

This amount relates to an insurance medical - done at the behest and for the account of Capital Alliance. I have made repeated calls to the Accounts department at Mdeicross and eventually took time off work to go and see the Branch manager / Accounts department. This was on 1 August 2022.

Eventually, after being treated like a ***** for some time it was established that this account had, in fact, been paid - I have a photo on my phone of the Account statement on my pho file, which reflects that this invoice has, in fact, been paid by Capital Alliance. The Clinic Manager then apologised, claiming that they had had a problem with their IT system and promised to sort it out and withdraw the reference to VeriCredit.

Today I again received a call from Vericredit - demanding payment. Clearly, they have not sorted it out as promised. I have concluded that they intend to keep harassing me until I pay.

Make sure they send you statements as they lose their records. Who knows what else they get up to? They ceratinly dont.
