Medicross crosses the line

I made an appointment yesterday, specifying a Pap smear', with a female GP. This morning, I was told when I arrived, that they hadnt booked a double appointment and I'd have to re-schedule. Mind you, I took the morning off for this appointment. While the GP then graciously accommodated me (and I was done in under 15min, so why did we need a double appointment?) the reception couldnt tell me why this upsetting situation occurred in the first place. I dont see why I must pay double ? I asked to speak to a practice manager, who was apparently in a meeting (this was at 9.15am) and called twice to be told she's still busy. Its now 2pm and no reply. How unprofessional. Previously, they divulged medical information to my ex husband that I had a restraining order against. They even told him what time my appointment was for. Unacceptable.
