Medicross - Constantia Park

For a dentist appointment where the Dr only took x-rays then referred me to another Dr and gave me a prescription, I was invoiced for items the medical aid flagged. The item the medical aid needed motivation for was 8131 - Emergency dental service for R145.65. I spoke finance and they informed me that they will talk to the Dr and resolve it. I waited for more than a month for the Dr's response / motivation for the code used. Medicross started sending me sms's and emails that I have an amount of R145.65 outstanding and I need to pay it as soon as possible. I went to see the Dr to resolve this, where I was informed that code 8131 - was the prescription. This means that I paid R145.65 for the Dr to write a prescription as writing a prescription is NOT included in the consultation. I decided to pay cash for the outstanding amount get them off my back.
