Medicross Carlswald - Sends bills to Recovery companies that have already been paid

The complaint is not the doctors, however it is against the accounts department, which historically does not bill correctly or are quick to handover to debt recovery companies where they are in error.

• Complaint 1 o Dr Hansraj Claimed for 2021 and 2022  This was paid for and confirmed with medical aid • 2021 – R425.20 paid from medical aid • 2023 – R511.80 paid from medical aid  We physically visited their offices and advised on this, no response as yet, even after emails and calls • They don’t answer the phone, I called in today, a nurse picked up and said herself that accounts does not answer • Complaint 2 o Mum went in for a cleaning this year via Dr K Naicker, dentistry o Recieved sms claim indicates this was handed over to another debt recovery company  We called medical aid to enquire, the claim was never put through to medical aid and this is the first we hear of it • I myself have had a the same experience, and have stopped going to Medicross Carlswald for some time • Please just review the Google Reviews as well, you will note that this type of complaint has happened other people as well

I also submitted the complaint to customer care Netcare via email, no response, I called their service line, they said that even though they are Netcare they don't deal with Medicrosss complaints and tried to transfer me to Medicross management, with no answer to the call again. Multiple calls made to Medicross Carlswald they do not answer or I receive a automated message the line is unavailable.

We physically went back to Medicross Carlswald, spoke to Musa Tshabalala who confirmed this has been paid and will be corrected.

My mum received another message on the 28th June that theres an outstanding amount for Hansraj from Saya Recoveries, this was also paid via medical aid.
