Lack of highly paid GPs and Dental Professionals with customare care -

I had a dental appointment for my son yesterday.

No, Medicross = Netcare; and they just care about MONEY. NO MONEY; NO SERVICE.

I got there; and several other patients; of which I hopes more would come forth and complaint; the electricity for the business complex where down.

Few LOW SALARIED Admin personnel were left there; ALL THE GPs and Dentists left first; without taking time WhatsApp'ing their clients that they cancel appointments due to now electricity.

I mean; previously I dealt with a low-cost; very effective, Medunsa registered Indiër Dentist and he has a decency of leaving a COMPANY CELLPHONE with his Receptionist; who is working for them for over 15 years by now (for obvious reasons) - she even moved from an "old" to "new" practice.

So, if the electricity is down; she can call the patients IN ADVANCE to cancel appointments.

If it's a patient who is late; you forfeit your appointment; and Medicross / Netcare still claims "*****ulant" claims from your medical aid. They don't care if you're late because traffic lights were affected by power outages. They just care about their money.

Also, if you realise short notice you cannot come; even if you call; if it's not a MINIMUM of 2 hours before the time; they still charge medical aids.

I think the GPs & Dentists should have the decency to take the files; which got all the clients' contact information; and call them / WhatsApp / Message them to inform them of such "crisises" without electricity.

I know they couldn't help it's off; but it's unprofessional of highly paid professions, not doing efforts alerting patients, as they can claim the cost back from their company; that appointments are cancelled.
