False charge claimed by debt collectors

Medicross Randburg Dental At the end of March my wife and I went to Medicross Dental R/burg and consulted with the dentist Dr J.A. Crous for a upper denture to be made with 3 teeth. On 26 April the denture was ready to be fitted. Dr Crous then submitted a claim to my medical aid for R1326.40 which included R311.80 for 2 x stainless steel clasps. He did not fit any clasps to the denture. On 5 June received a statement by Email from Mr Emmanual Zwane (credit Controller) *** asking for R311.80 as payment for 2 stainless steel clasps as my medical aid had rejected this because the Dental Lab had fitted 2 clasps during manufacture. I rep**** to Mr Zwane’s Email on 6 June asking him to query with Dr J.A Crous where these alleged clasps are- no response or reply received. On 11 July received another statement for R311.80 sent by ***, I rep**** referring to my response to Mr Zwane-again no response. Same story on 16 August-no response. 3 Times I pointed out that I won’t pay for non existent clasps, there are 2 on the denture- no extra stainless steel clasps fitted by DR J.A Crous. Now Dr Matjeka and Ass T/A Medicross Randburg Dental have handed this alleged debt over to Saya Recoveries (debt collectors). The debt collectors may put MY good Name as a defaulter on a black list because I won’t pay for a false charge. Medicross Dental should be ashamed of their action.
