Dentists- no longer my choice to choose a dentist!

<p>I called two weeks ago to make a appointment with dentist at Benoni Medicross only to be told the dentist I wanted to see was to busy but that receptionist would get his receptionist to call me back . I have had no call to date so decided to call and try again. I was asked for my info when I advised I had been there previously but had no set dentist and that I wanted to see a particular dentist who I had been refgered by a friend, I was told sorry I cannot make a appointment for you I will have to ask the dentist if he is willing to take you on as a patient and sorry he has left for the day so I can tell you today so please give me your number and I will call you back once I have spoken to him.</p> <p>I think it is appalling that as a patient this service provider has decided that it is no longer the patients right to choose who treats them.</p> <p>"our caring health practitioners offer individual care, and our dedicated staff will do everything possible to ensure that you are comfortable"- I think not .</p> <p>The receptionist was defiantly not caring nor did she wish to ensure that I was comfortable at all and it seed quiet normal to her to check if the dentist in question was willing to see me and my two boys.</p> <p>i find it funny that when I see the doctors at the same centre there is no issue at who I see and I found the past two experiences trying to see a dentist at Benoni Medicross extremely unprofessional to say the least. Needless to say I will notifyy medical aid and find a dentist that is happy to treat my family and I and that is truley caring and offers individual care and values my wellbeing and health!</p>
