Deception

Last year I visited the dentist Dr Van Zyl at Medicross Roodepoort. He had a look at my teeth and suggested that he crown one of the teeth. He said that they would check for available funds on my medical aid. The Medical aid came back and said that there wasn't enough funds available. Since I wasn't in any pain I said that I would rather wait until there are funds available. About 3 months later I receive a call from Medicross stating that there are now enough funds available and that I should come in for the crown. I went ahead and had the crown done. Some time after completion Medicross sent me a bill for R3000 stating that the medical aid did not pay. I enquired from my medical aid and they stated that they did inform Medicross that there were insufficient funds available for dental, and that they have record of the call from Medicross.<br> I feel cheated and deceived by Medicross. I tried to discuss the matter with them but they refuse to listen to reason or admit any sort of responsibility only stating that I am liable for the full amount. <br> What is more, on the 11th of May 2015 Medicross refused to assist my wife who had a dental emergency and was in great pain.
