Benoni Medicross terrible treatment

I feel like I received very bad and unprofessional treatment by the doctor that saw me this afternoon.

He asked me to move to the bed and very rudely told me that I must lie down, not sit up. Like this is something I should have guessed. He yanked my shirt up to my throat and instructed me, again very rudely, to hold the shirt up. When I didn't hold it up sufficiently enough for him he again yanked my shirt higher and instructed he "no here". He took his and placed it on my chest and asked me to breath deeply. Without asking me or giving me instruction, to used his open palm and pushed my head to the side very forcefully. After this part of the examination he checked my throat. He asked me to stick out my tongue and with his wooden stick pressed my tongue into my teeth to the point that it actually hurt me.

Before he concluded his examination I explained and showed him that I had a loose toenail, which I wanted treatment for.

After I prescribed my medication for my "accute bronchitis" I reminded him that I would also like something for the toenail, to which I said, he can't give my anything for the "fungal" infection on my toe because he doesn't know what fungus it is. He prescribed a topical ointment for the inflation of my toe and a second antibiotic which I read up on and has nothing to do with fungal infections.

To conclude, he treated me with absolutely no respect and I feel that he was highly unprofessional. I had to pay the R180 surcharge to be seen on a Sunday but yet I was give very poor treatment and medication that has nothing to do with the concerns I highlighted to him.

I would like a written apology and acknowledgement of my complaint as well as a second opinion by a professional doctor at this institution. Not to mention the non refundable medication I paid for which is most probably completely useless to me.
