Bad and questionable doctors
onI waited for an hour in causality in Medicross to see a doctor as my son had a high fever and was vomiting.I explained what chronic medication my son was taking as to ensure there is no duplication in the prescribed med and obviously give an indication of medical history. The doctor made a prescription. I went to the pharmacy to collect the medication and realized that the names on the script were not mine. Because i was already agitated i was willing to let the mistake pass thinking that he saw the patient thus the medication would still be applicable to the patient. However, when the pharmacist saw the script she started querying it. It turned out that the doctor had diagnosed the incorrect medication . I was taken to another doctor to correct this and got the assistance I needed. My problem is, the receptionist who failed to inform the doctor of a emergency case, waited for an hour, misdiagnosis by a certified medical doctor working at an institution I have had high regard for and have been a client of for years. it seemed to me that the staff at medicross were aware that there was a problem with the Doctor i had seen and that my dilemma was not uncommon, yet he remains there
