Atrocious ‘Treatment’ received from Kamlin Govender - Dentist at Medicross Westering.

My son made an appointment to see a dentist ( Kamlin Govender) at Medicross Westering. He had been suffering from really bad pain in his face due to a broken crown and a wisdom tooth that is growing sideways. This caused an infection that subsequently needed antibiotics and serious pain killers. His medical aid unfortunately had not kicked in yet as he just started a job and there’s a waiting period but he has more than enough cash to have covered any procedure that was necessary.

The Dentist judged him on sight and decided that he was not worth the effort. He said to the receptionist ‘ a cash patient’??? He then looked at the tooth, took a scan, gave him a hefty bill (R1375.00) and some Stillpain and sent him on his way saying that there was nothing he could do for him.

We managed to get a script from another dentist for the very strong antibiotics and proper pain killers he needed and he had the teeth seen to by a much better Dentist at a fraction of the cost.

I wish there was a way that one could award ZERO STARS because that is what this Quack calling himself a Dentist deserves.

He shouldn’t be practicing at all based on the treatment my son received from Kamlin Govender from Medicross Westering in Geberha.
