ACCOUNTS AT Medicross Benoni refusing us to see a Dr

I frantically took my son to Medicross Benoni on the 20th September as a walk in patient not having the time to make an appointment hoping to get help soon as my son ran a fever of 39.2

Upon arrival I was helped by the front desk and advised me that I will be seen by Dr Le Roux, I was so relieved but then got a printout to sign for my appointment I noticed I owed some money for two previous appointments in July 2019 amounting to R786 I immediately showed this out to the front desk lady and told her that I would transfer the funds the next day, she said no problem just go to the 1st floor accounts department she advised to make the arrangement, so I went...to my horror!

The lady there called me in and I gave her the paper and advised her the same as I never received an account on this else it would have been paid and obviously sorted, I asked her to show me the address as she refused me to see the Dr without immediate cash or transfer payment even after I showed out that I have no objection to pay I just never got an account only to see that my email address was incorrect, I pointed this out and still I was refused to see the Dr without making immediate payment. I took the account and left taking my son with me not seeing a Dr.

I think this is a disgrace!!! 1stly The account was for so little money and would have paid it 2ndly The account was for 2 months ago we havnt been to the Dr since 3rdly My email address was incorrect so no accounts were received on my part And lastly refusing me to see a Dr without immediate payment like I'm a *****!

My family and I have been patients at the practice for the past 5 years! WHAT A DISGRACE PUTTING 700 ODD RAND IN THE WAY OF HELPING A 7 YEAR OLD LITTLE BOY WITH A FEVER THAT NEEDED ASSISTANCE URGENTLY!!
