Extremely bad... STAY AWAY

Should you ever end up in an emergency situation... in need of anything.. like oxygen or epileptic medication, I would not recommend that you visit this pharmacy (in Alberton). I phoned in earlier tonight approximately (7h50) and asked the pharmacist whether I'd be able to come in for emergency medication. The lady was so rude, and asked me where I live, and whether I'm already driving, because they want to go home. Upon arrival, it was a mission to get into the pharmacy, seeing that they didn't want to open it, after I was told that they cannot help me. After standing outside for a while, they eventually let me in, and I got a LECTURE from the utterly rude and unprofessional lady behind the counter, that crossed-examined me, on why I was 2 minutes late, because they close at 8. I told her, that I actually had to stop at the traffic lights, as well as the simple fact... that she should also keep in mind, that I do not live next to the pharmacy, and that I did indeed told her, that I would take a few minutes to get there.

I have epilepsy, and was in great need of emergency meds. I had my prescription (as required) with me. The extremely rude pharmacists told me that she would definitely not be able to assist me upon this matter, seeing that the prescription should be the "real" one. Now, hear me out on this one. I am a Capetonian, and my neurologist gave me a VALID prescription (signed) via email. This prescription was even previously accepted by a Dis-Chem pharmacy. She was so rude, that she made it looked like as if I was wasting their time by visiting them for an emergency case for cold and flu medication. One has to understand the importance of medicine such as epileptic medication. It is a great need to the patient AT THAT EXACT MOMENT, and not simply something that can stand over till the next day... I simply just don't think that this rude and maybe inexperienced lady (pharmacist) understood the importance of it. We ended up driving to Boksburg to get the medication at Centrum RingPharm Pharmacy (which they gave without any questions and hesitations). They were in awe, seeing that this pharmacy gave me all this trouble, they were also astounded by the miles that we had to drive, because of 1 single person that was inexperienced. - I was of meaning that this post went through on the evening that I posted it, but saw this morning that it didn't. This whole incident happened on the 19th of January 2020.
