No Service and Evasion From Service Provider

We contacted this company to provide Medical Assistance during our Primary School's Rugby & Netball Matches. Lorraine Vosser sent us a quotation for the 2 occasions (23 & 30 May 2024) we requested for. Once approved, she insisted we pay the fees for both dates which totals to R 16,000.00 (R 8,000.00 each). We made the decision to only pay the fee of R 8,000.00 for the 23rd and the balance once they arrive for the first date's matches. We contacted them early the morning of 23 May 2024 and they confirmed that they are on their way from Pretoria to Lephalale. They still have not arrived once the matches were set to start, we contacted them again - they advised us that they had a breakdown and they are 50km's away, after another half an hour, we had to get other Medical Assistance staff to come and provide support at the matches. The staff that we paid for only arrived almost 3 hours later. We advised them that they can return back to Pretoria as we will won't need their services as they are far too late. We contacted Lorraine Vosser earlier the day and advised her of the situation and that she will have to refund us as we had to get other assistance in for the day. She confirmed that she will do so. We again contacted her later that afternoon to confirm this again, and she agreed. When we tried to contact her on Friday 24 May 2024, she did not answer her phone and her emails bounced back. We tried the entire day with no luck, she only responded later that evening with another email address after we advised her that we are going to report her to the necessary authorities. The request for the refund was sent to the other email address on Monday 27 May 2024 with no reply. She does not answer her phone or reply to WhatsApp messages. We now have no other choice than to warn people against this company and report them to the necessary authorities.
