Unfaire accused for a claim

I were handed over to attorneys because of my Dr visit to Dr RP Pieterse while being On a medical aid at that time for unlimited GP visits as stated in my policy. I receive the news in November 2023 that the account is not paid for my visit was in March 2023. For the practice wanting to claim from me now is unfair the claim was not made in time with my medical aid at that time as I am not on there plan anymore and now I am liable for a visit that I payed my medical aid for and also for making me aware now after this time about this account is not fair. I am struggling to explain my situation it is not understood by the Dr's employees or the Attorneys now this Attorneys have charged me for fals costs. I am in this big issue because of the Dr employees that did not claim from my medical aid I am aware that the medical aid says claims made in longer than 4 months will be regected. From March to November is 8 Months this is ridiculous in causing this case after this period
