Wrongful Admission

<p>i was admitted at Louis Pasteur hospital early hours of the morning on Thursday the 4th of August , i was very sick could not walk or talk properly , i did not get any helpful or professional service , when i went to casualty section i asked for the Doctor but in my condition the lady at reception said i need to open a file first and only when I was leaving to go she shouted out ARE YOU PREGNANT !!!!(meaning she could tell my condition was not well) , i then went to admission reception to open a file , the lady could see my condition was not good , she then called the doctor , i also spoke telephonically to the doctor explained that my i have a horrible headache , i did not know that the doctor is psychiatrist , i was taken to a ward and only given an injection , i slept ,early in the morning i could see that the ward i was admitted in was not the kind of ward i was used to , i then asked to spoke to the sister nurse then kindly explained its a ward for people who needs bed rest or that have depression , i informed them that i don’t have depression i came in the hospital because i had a terrible headache , she then said first see the doctor then she will take things from there , i was not happy with the fact the from being admitted early hours of the morning the doctor only came to see me late in the afternoon , i spoke to the doctor she said my headache is caused stress , my concerns is that i still had the headache but she is not making referrals to see a neurologist for my headache , Friday morning my condition was worse i fainted in my room , only then my sugar was taken and my high blood , the nurse informed me that they called the doctor that my condition was worse , when the doctor came her concerns was that my medical aid did not want to pay my admission , she was informed / advised by the case manager to immediately discharge me , even thou i was very weak and my headache was getting worse , i was discharged and i left , i phoned the hospital on the 8th sister Rose and Biotumelo they very helpful and said the hospital is busy with conducting a report , they will provide feedback i called in yesterday to find out how far are they with the report i spoke the chairperson of admin Dija Valla, she was very very rude and informed me that i should take this to my lawyer and the hospital will communicate with my lawyer , i really find the hospital service very poor and unprofessional , we cant be paying so much money but yet still get such poor service , this was a wrongful admission from the beginning , I was supposed to be checked by a doctor by casualty only be admitted in the medical ward , from their findings if and only if I felt I needed to off load and speak to a psychiatrist then the doctor would the refer me to see the psychiatrist , I find this really unprofessional and *********</p>
