Worst service ever

<p>Good day, we had my son by his Gp, and was told to take him to a hospital because he might have hepatitis A or B. We were so worried because he looked like he had jaundice, his eyes was yellow and his pee is like a dark tea colour. But besides that, my son didn't want to eat and is still constipated since last Thursday, today is Tuesday and he still didn't go to the toilet and is still constipated. We got to the emergency room at constantiaberg hospital, they took his vitals and was told to wait in the waiting rooms. And at this time we were told to pay upfront because we on a hospital plan only. But I didn't understand that the xrays and bloods was not apart of the fee. I thought it was included. I was not explained correctly. And the service I received by the attending doctor was the worst service ever. He didn't do much but told me they going to do the bloods and xrays. Dr. Hendricks didn't take care of my son like he should have. We received no empathy, he acted like we were there as in inconvenience to his life. He told us that he was going to contact a pediatric doctor to book my son into hospital. Giving us the impression that my son needed to be booked into hospital. And then after speaking to the pediatric doctor, he came back to us and informed us that they don't book kids into hospital for Hepatitis A. Apparently they do not have rooms for kids that are contagious, which I think is a load of ****. For a well known hospital to not have a hospital room for contagious kids can't be true. I want to see that in writing. I paid a R1260 in cash for a unsatisfied service and the worst service ever. I'm still in a bad situation because my son is still sick, still peeing dark coloured pee and still didn't go to the toilet to make a number 2! And now I'm at a loss of a R1260 and I still have to pay for a xray and bloods bill. When all this could have been done in hospital. I am not going to leave this like this and will take this further. Totally unhappy!!!!!!!</p>
