When mental health isnt considered "health", and someone's life wasn't worth more than a prescription.

On a late Thursday 14/03/2024 afternoon, a child brings their mother... With the last bit of strength and willpower she had... To you for care, as she was not just completely broken down but a danger to herself. What service did we get? An outpatient bill (additional burden) and an "there is nothing we can do, she'll need to go home". No councillors, no support structures no nothing. Just a "stick it out further" and there you go... Mind you, she is on medical aid, so they could have admitted her to atleast calm her down or SOMETHING. So here is a daughter, who not only saw her mom break - but proved her mother right that the world doesn't care. Sending her back to the environment that caused all of this.
