Very bad Service received

<p>My GP refferred my daughter for a second opinion scan at Brits mediclinic at the X-rays department and we went there and they gave us an appointment for 23/03/2017 at 13:00, I had to leave my work 15 minutes before time so as to make it for the appointment time. At reception the lady by the name of Anneline helped me to complete the form and afterwards I had to wait for 40 minutes and when I asked what was happening she just said that we had to wait for the lady who was to help us with a scan, she took us to a room for scan and left us there for yet more that 30 munites and when I went out to ask her again she said the same story that we had to wait for the lady who was to assist us in a very unfriendly manner. I was now getting irritated and asked another lady to check for us what was happening and then 10 minutes later the lady by the name of Kerry Rice came and she just passed me there in front of the room without even greeting nor appologising for keeping us waiting for that long and she just instructed my daughter to lie on the bed. I asked her why were we not informed that we were going to wait for that long and she said that there was a problem with the system but no one said anything to us at least, she said that it was not her problem that the system was down. I asked Anneline again on our way out after paying an amount of R796.00 for this pathetic service and she said that Kerry was busy with a report. Now My problem is why did they give me an appointment knowing that they will not honor it, why was I treated as if I was not a paying patient like the others that came in after me because I felt that maybe it was because of my skin colour as another lady came in after us and she was attended to immediately unlike us, if they didn't want to assist me why did they keep us waiting for so long only to give us that attitude. I need a response from someone above at Mediclinic for me to be able to understand in future if we should not consult with them and rather use the government clinics because at the end of the day I also had to pay like those they regard as people. </p>
