Unprofessional, defensive staff- ****, waited 1.5h

At 11h30 Saturday, 5 Dec 2015 my husband and I went to the emergency ward after he complained about shortness of breath. Before us was a man with severe stomach cramps and a few minutes later an elderly lady with severe headaches joined us, making 3 patients in the waiting room. We were told that there were 2 patients still being seen by the doctor and we were next. It was however difficult to estimate a time. Hoewer, 1.5h passed. During this time the admittance staff allowed people with civilian clothing in the secure area at their desks, unprofessionally talked about shebeens, etc. They compley ignored the eldery lady's cries of pain. Not once during the 1.5h were we checked up on or told a revised delay time. I queries this and was met with an extremely defencive nurse (?). She then claimed that i should know it would take long that \all the beds at the back are full"and that this \""was a hospital\"". We left after i scolded her lack of communication and pointed at the other two patients who were in severe distress. Someone **** about there only being 2 patients as well? Clean up your act- you are supposed to care for patients. Love block away"
