Unhappy patient

I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl at this hospital on Dec 21st. I was expecting world class service from the staff especially because it was not full during this time and people were on holiday. Firstly my room was not kept clean for the days I stayed there which was bearable, what I could not understand was why they do not clean the bathroom as it was dirty, that was only done on the 3day after complaining. My husband also had to complain as we felt that our newborn baby was not getting the attention she needed in terms on nappy change and bathing, that was also attended to after we complained and the nurse came to apologise so we kind of forgot about it. What led me to this point was before I left the hospital I had to ask them if I do not have forms to complete for my daughters birth certificate. None of them was paying attention to me as they had other things to do, between 3 staff members. I managed to complete the forms gave it to one of the ladies who put it in my file. I week later I called to follow up and was told to wait for them to call me. 3wks later I called again and was told to wait as there is a backlog. The 4wk I went and was sent back as I was told again that I need to wait for them to call me and should not come until they call me. The 5th wk I called and was told that home affairs will send me and sms and I need to be patient. 6th week I called again and Refilwe said she will call home affairs and check for me as to what is happening and will call back. Never did. I called back today and she told me the registration was not done, I asked what happened to my file and she said she does not know as I cannot confirm who was helping me on the day. She continued to say that since its already more than 30 days I will need to go to home affairs myself and apply for the birth certificate. I have never been so disrespected and taken for granted like this before, being sent back like I am stupid and bothering them whilst they are working. No one wanted to take the time to double check how they can assist me. This is a process that only takes a few days but they kept on shutting the door in my face. I will never ever set foot in this hospital, the staff here does not value their patients.
