Unhappy

I am Joyce Masangane, I have a complain about my mom who was discharged with a cvp. That ended up give her complications.

She was admitted by Dr Cronje on the 05-04-2022, then the patient was been transferred to Dr Pillay on the 07-04-2022.

She first admitted at ward G, things got out of hands,until she was moved to high care unit. By the day she was discharged she was at ward B.

I am very unhappy as the moment I find out they didn't remove the CVP, when we got home. I immediately called the ward they told me to send my mother to the nearest hospital or clinic as we are staying far. We took her to the clinic the next morning. They told us they can't remove it the Dr left it there for a reason they didn't remove it.

On the 13-04-2022 the situation got worse she couldn't turn her head. We took her to the nearest Gp. That when he told us that CVP was the cause of the problem. He then wrote us the referral to go back to the hospital as the CVP might be having some infection because it is not supposed to be staying on a person for that long.

Then we drove back to Potchefstroom medi clinic, for removal of it. So if the sisters were very cautious and checked everything this couldn't have happened and all of the unnecessary pain could have been prevented. So I am clearly unhappy with the matter.

This matter has never been resolved until today.
