Unfair treatement I received and poor management response from hospital management

Below is the unfair treatment I received from Legae private clinic. Email complain was logged. Till today no response was received

I Baatseba Phuthi, I was admitted at Legae private clinic on the 12th of February and dischared on the on the 19 February 2019. See the below concern with attachements to your concern.

My concern /objective 1. I was referred by my family doctor on the 12 February 2019 for further investigation /exemination as I had breathing problem. I went to leagae as per written concern letter from my doctor. I was admitted someday around pass two (14h00). The whole process was followed as per doctor's Mayeza request.

My dissapointments and frustrations 1. I had a drip as per above request. 2. Few days before my discharge I had drip on my left hand I notice on Sunday that my hand was swallow. I request the nurse in charge to assist me as the pain was survier. 3. The drip was removed and later was put on my right side by the male nurse who was on duty that day. 4. If my memory sense me well it was on Monday night whn I ask nurse in charge to remove the drip becouse I couldn't resist the pain any longer. 5. The drip was removed but the pain was continuously. I never slept that nite. 6. I refused to be on other hand as trust was no more I told them I will wait for my doctor. 7. On Tuesday when my doctor come for the rounds as always. I show her my hand as it was turning reddish in colour. 8. My doctor seemed to be very worried and went to reception to report my incident. 9. I further request to be dischared thou my doctor told me that I am not yet fine. 10. She further recommend that I should apply reparil Gel ointment that relieves muscular pain on my affected hand. 11.I received treatment and left to go home. 12. Since from that night I never slept. I had to carry my hand over my head due to the horrible pain that I was in. 13. I started to been having fear of death in case my vein can burst what will happen to me and my kids. 14. Starting to have more breathing problem due to my main 15. Starting to have death nights mare due to my hand pain. 16. My hand was temporary disable or unable to support the left hand. 17 I couldn't hardly be able to carry iron to iron for my kids. 18. I coluld hardly carry loundry busket 19. I had to ask for help at all times. 20. Bathing was a night mare to me I had to be assisted at all times.

How hopeless I become. 1. On the 26th February 2019. I went for review 2. My doctor ask me how I feel nd ect. 3.I show her mus hand. I could see her reaction that she really dissapointed. 4. Re refferd me to sonar. 5. The sonar was done with full report of the incident. Attached are pictures of sonar. 6. I went back to her consulting room to give her feed back as per sonar doctor. 7. I further ask her who will be liable for the cost of that day. 8. She call the ward sister to come to her office. Picture of my hand was taken 9. I ask the ward nurse some question 10. Her response " I quote the cost is for patient this is not for the the first time this case occurred" close quote. 11.My doctor prescribed tables for me. 12.I went to purchase as per prescribed list. I only magaged to received one box of Auro Amoxiclav 625mg. 13On the other side I am busy taking my chronic tables. Then it's making my life more difficult and u easy to settle. 14. I reply to the survey on the querry but no one come back to me. 19. Till I decided to go personally to ask for help 20. I meet Tsholofelo Goseka Case Manager for Legae. 21. I told here whole sopie pertaining to mystory. 22. She request to note down the whole incident. My explanation /plea 1. I request the hospital to reimbursed me my cost for the 26th February 2019 2. To give the tables that are written on my prescription that I was unavailable to get at the chemist I used. Bcouse they are not sold 3. To pay me my ************* with that appears to me. 4. I had seven nights fear of death that my vein or allerires will burst at any moment and I die. 5. I will request the hospital to reimburse me the money that my medical aid pay out since the 12 - 19 February 2019.

Good Day

Please note that I as admitted on the 12 Feb 2019 till 21 Feb 2018. I was on antibiotic trip, day before my discharged at the hospital the was a male nurse who put drip on my right hand the in the evening I ask night shift nurse to take it out as my hand was painful I could not sleep. Now my hand is still swore with blue skin ***** straggling to use the hand .
