Traumatic Experience Pathetic8 Service

I had a very traumatic experience. I gave birth to my first baby via c-section. I received no help when myself and my baby needed it. Since there was a shortage of staff I pleaded for my husband to stay with me and look after my baby. I couldn't move and there was a few complications with my baby but they said he couldn't. I was in pain, in and out of sleep because of the surgery and still had to look after my baby that was a few hours old. Didn't get pain medication when I needed it, waited for almost an hour for someone to help me to the bathroom, didn't get help as a new mother or someone that had a major surgery, baby didn't get the help that he needed.

We also got a bill of over R3k for private ward when we never requested a private room.

I would not recommend this horrible hospital.
