****** diamantring

My wife was admitted to the Mediclinic Kloof Hospital on the 12th September at the Emergency Ward with aggrevated Swine Flu. After 3 days she was transfered to the ICU where she spend 3 weeks on the ventilator. While she was sedated and on the machines with drips somebody took her diamantring off her vinger! When I discovered it I immediately informed the Matron and she commanded the nurses to look for the ring. Nobody saw it and they even tried to tell me that my wife never had a ring on her finger! I told them that I am giving them a day or two to find it otherwise I am goiing to report it to the Hospital Manager. When I heard nothing from them I went to see Mrs Swart, Hospital Manager, and she said that they are goiing to perform poligraph tests on both the evening and day staff. I said that if she did not report back to me in a weeks time I am goiing to lay charges against the Hospital with the Police. When she did not come back to me I went to the Police station and case 891/9/2016 was opened. I went back to Mrs Swart and then she told me that they discovered the guilty party but that she was a contract worker and she resigned from her employer on the 3oth September! Mrs Swart did not want to provide me with the name of the person so I phoned Constable Makamu who was asigned to the case and I told her to go to Mrs Swart and get the information so that they could arrest the person. Mrs swart just pulled her shoulders up when I asked what happened up to today! The reason for posting this is to tell the public that you cannot even trust the staff that is soposed to nurse you while you are sick and unable to look after yourself! I went to investigate the procedures when a client is booked in at the Emergency centre. There is 3 choices which you should consider what happens to valuable items. One of these have to be circled. They never even presented it to me and just let me sign the documents. Now that this valuable item was ****** they just ignore me! Please could you take it up with the institution and the Police? Thank you.
