Sandton Medi Clinic Complaint 12 Dec 2018

I was taken to Medi Clinic Sandton yesterday by an ambulance after a car accident. I am so unimpressed by your service and know now to rather always advise anyone I know or for myself to not go to your Clinic but to a Life or any other hospital. I was released as x rays of my spine showed I am fine and was fine when I left. The doctor in emergencies said: if you have any problems afterwards phone us. I bumped my head hard in the accident as my car rolled it was hit so hard by the other vehicle. There was no swelling bruising or lump yesterday. There were only grazes from where I hit my head but the bleeding had stopped yesterday. This morning I have developed a large lump over my forehead in a short space of time. I am not sure if it is serious or not and am sure it is bruising but phoned this morning to ask if the doctor I saw can give me a form to have x rays done at the hospital near me as I cannot get to Sandton Medi Clinic it is far and my car is written off. I was not helped at all I was just repeatedly told no no no nothing further explained. I also had a poor experience when I paid my bill at casualties. I was told clearly your medical savings are finished that’s why we can’t put your bill through to Discovery. I asked for a proper receipt after I paid after for my claim back from the medical aid. I was told we can’t give you anything else you must phone our accounts dept in 2-3 days and get it. I also discovered when I got to a pharmacy elsewhere later that my medical savings is not finished. Why was I not told the truth that Sandton Medi Clinic do not process claims rather? Honestly I am really disgusted and hence my want to send this to you as it is alarming and its sad people go to you with ambulances at a moment when they have no choice really as they are disorientated. I will never ever use a Medi Clinic across this country again and also advise anyone I know not to.
