Rude, Hostile & Condescending Experience

<p>Dear Sir / Madam</p> <p> </p> <p>This posts serves as a complaint against Milnerton Mediclinic Gynaecologist Dr Michelle Marks.</p> <p> </p> <p>Good medical doctor with very poor interpersonal s****s. Rude, condescending & hostile.</p> <p> </p> <p>The most unfriendly doctor's visit I have ever experienced.</p> <p> </p> <p>As i come from a family of medical practitioners, (father is a Doctor) I find Dr Michelle Marks conduct unacceptable.</p> <p> </p> <p>She refused to answer my questions, or blatantly just ignored my presence.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was hostile throughout the consultation and extremely dismissive.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was forced to calmly ask her if I had offended her, before her conduct<br />improved.</p> <p> </p> <p>I hope this is an isolated incident and not one of racial bias. I’am a black male<br />and my pregnant friend is a coloured female.</p> <p> </p> <p>Her receptionist was extremely friendly and supportive, and the booking process was effortless.</p> <p> </p> <p>Dr Michelle Marks ‘You are a medical professional in a client facing position,<br />so learn how to serve customers.’</p> <p> </p> <p>I come from a upper middle class family and probably earn more than you do at my age, but still treat people with respect.</p> <p> </p> <p>No response to this post is needed as I know nothing is usually done about complaints against medical practitioners.</p> <p> </p> <p>Do not worry, I will not be visiting your practice or clinic again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I’am simply highlighting my experience, in order to alert stakeholders and hopefully<br />prevent this from happening to others.</p> <p> </p> <p>Good Bye</p>
