Poor service received from Medi-clinic Worcester

I was admitted to Medi-clinic Worcester on 2 Augustus 2023. My GP wanted to refer me to Medi-clinic Herm****, but I insisted on Worcester as we have family there and I thought it was a better hospital. The Emergency Unit was Excellent and top class, but when I was admitted to ward D04, all suffering started. After a CT scan, it was detected that I had a severe colon infection. I was extremely hungry as I am a diabetic and had to stay without food the whole day. When supper arrived, I received a small glaas of berry diabetic Juice, green jelly and what was supposed to be broth, but instead was a mug filled with hot water and a piece of stock Block. I ate and 30 min after I received my 1st antibiotics, I had a severe allergic reaction. I started itching all over my body. I rang the Bell and the sister in charge told me to Google what ingredients the antibiotics has in that made me itchy. Im in hospital, full of pain, but I need to Google???? After a shower a nurse came to check if I had a rash too, but after ringing the Bell 3 x times, I still didn't receive help. I walked to the front desk and saw the whole night team chatting and doing nothing. I asked who was in charge and again pleaded for assistance. She was annoyed with me and said my doctor is in theatre and cant be reached. I asked if there was only 1 x doctor in the whole hospital?? Soon after the nurse came to give me an infection with force (it was really painful) I fell a sleep for 1 hour. The itching was intense. At 02h30 I again went to the front desk and asked if they could give me another injection. They explained that I needed to wait till 03h30. I received another injection and could sleep 1 x more hour, because they woke us up again at 04h30. For breakfast I once again received the same meal as the previous night. I refused to drink the so called broth. Then for lunch, I received yet again the exact same meal. I first started crying, but then I decided to stand up for myself. I took the broth and asked where the chef is. The sister in charge told me that Im not allowed to go and see the chef, but I could go and see the Customer service Manager. I went to her office and put the cup on her desk and told her I wont eat this anymore. She asked me to sit and I gave her all my complaints. She made notes and promised to sort things out. I left her office, bought myself a desent cup of Coffee at the Coffee shop and went back to my room. I wanted to use the bathroom and by 13h00 our bathroom was not yet cleaned!!! I threw a tantrum about that too! I was hungry, angry and in much pain. The dietician went to the chef and she explained to him how to make proper broth. Things slightly improved. The next day, my arm was swollen due to the drip. The drip was remove and placed in my other arm. The Customer service Manager came to check on me and asked if everything was ok. I said unfortunately not. She didn't bring me a proper pillow like she promised to do the previous dat. My aunty had to bring me a pillow. She apologised and brought me a proper pillow which I used to rest my swollen arm on. Later I had to suffer another allergic reaction as the matter was never investigated when it happened. It was never the antibiotics, it was one of the pain medications. I once again itched. I also asked for pain medication one morning before 07h00 and only received it after 2 hours and complaining again. The specialist came around late on Friday evening and told me that I can be discharged on Saturday morning after another round of antibiotics. So on Saturday morning I asked to see my sick leave note that he wrote so that I could see when I was supposed to work again and to make arrangements with my Boss. They brought the sick leave note and I saw it was not signed, which meant it was not valid. They phoned the doctor and he said that I must leave my email address and he would email me a signed letter on Moday morning. Need less to say, I went to work today and couldn't provide my Boss with a sick note as I still have not received one. I never received a Customer questionaire to rate my experience. So I thought I would do this review to warn future patients that your mental well been is not at all important to this hospital nor your dietary needs nor your pain management.
