Poor professionalism

On Thursday the 20th of November I had an appointment with Dr Eshragi who referred me for an X-Ray to Sandton Radiology.

While being attended to at Sandton Radiology I cut my big toe on my left leg on the sharp corner of a metal step. The attendant radiologist assured me that it was not bad and put a tight dressing around the wound to stop the bleeding.

Only on removing the dressing this morning did I become aware of the extent of the injury and the fact that this should have been referred to the emergency department for stitches immediately.

I have tried contacting Sandton Radiology in this regard to no avail as I cannot find an email address and when I phone the phone is simply put down in my ear.

I have two images of what this wound looks like which I can provide.

I find this service completely unprofessional and very poor conduct by Sandton Radiology. This should have been dealt with professionally and the fact that their staff simply puts the phone down in ones ear when you are looking for help is appalling.

I have never come across such unprofessional care in my life at any medical facility
