Pathetic service at Kloof Hospital

Kloof does it again! The paediatric nursing staff was utterly useless this afternoon with the admittance of my daughter. Not only was she kept waiting in the ward without any attention for 45 minutes, it appeared that they were not even aware that she was there. When I arrived they did not know to which room and bed she was allocated. I had no assistance from staff to find her, so did it myself.<br> <br> All over the ward alarms were sounding without being attended to. In my daughter's room the parents told us that they had to go to the nursing station child and drip stand in tow for assistance to sort out occlusions in the drip. One parent also intimated that he had to keep watch over his child in the ward during the day so that his wife could be there at night. He had to take off from work.<br> <br> We decided to go to another hospital and upon advising staff thereof the only comment from staff was \ok"- and that was it. No assistance was given by management who was there"
