Pathetic hospital stay at Muelmed. Always late Dr and bad attitude by Deborah, the unit manager!

If I were to go to hospital in a conscious mind, Muelmed would be the last place I would go. The nurses were very kind and provided good nursing services, yes I give credit to them. My biggest problem was the physician I was allocated to, Dr Maloba, 2nd day of my admission I was only seeing by the Dr in the evening at around 19h30 after when I had complained to the entire hospital and called Mediclinic contact centre. By the time he arrives, patients had already lost interest because you spend the whole day wondering why you are in a hospital bed without knowing what's wrong with you. Then there was a unit manager named, Deborah, when I complained about the Dr not coming she told me that she cannot give me the Dr and I should bring my own Dr if I want to be een by the Dr. She further told me that if I want I should discharge myself. Why is Dr Maloba kept on the hospital Dr's roll if he has no capacity to attend to patients. Every patient allocated to him is complaining him. On Saturday we spent, the whole day again asking if we will be seen by he Dr and he kept on saying he is coming (according to the feedback from nursing staff). I had to call Mediclinic again and the unit manager. He kept on postponing time until when he arrived just before 22h00. When consulting with me as a patient, I had to ask him every lil bit of information. I had to ask him what's wrong with me. I reminded him with every consultation to share with me my tests results. He never seemed keen to give me Dr-Patient feedback. I note from my medical aid scheme comms that I have overstayed at hospital, I don't even know why I had to stay that longer if I took over 24 hours without being attended by the Dr. Muelmed must assess performance of their Drs. We cannot be told that there is nothing the hospital can do if the Dr is not attending to patients. We come to Mediclinic for the healthcare service and it is the responsibility of the facility to ensure that is provided. Deborah was wrong to tell me as a patient that Muelmed cannot do anything if Dr isn't coming on time. M experience with Muelmed was the worst ever, I don't think I will ever go there in my conscious senses. Please remove Dr Maloba as he has no capacity to render his services at Muelmed.
