Over a month to retrieve Medical Record?

I’m in the process of helping my mother apply for UIF and they asked us to provide her medical records, seeing that we’ve lodged an appeal.

I contacted the Meulmed Mediclinic and spoke to a very polite lady by the name Lebogang Phetoane. She sent me a quotation and I paid the required money via EFT. This was on the 23rd of Jan.

Since then I have been sending countless e-mails to Lebo, who eventually cc’s a certain William Tsele for further and I have heard nothing from him since. This was on the 13th of Feb.

I have, every time I could, stress how important it is for me to get those records because we’re running against the clock but no one seems to care!! It’s not like we’re not paying for this service!

The acknowledgment letter that Lebogang sent to me said it will take 7 days to be processed and yet, a month latet, I’m still waiting.

Disappointing would be an understatement.
