noise levels
My son was admitted at the paediatric ward in Louis Pasteur and my oh my what I witnessed was it a disappointment. During the day your child will cry their lungs dry or cry to sleep simply because the nurses just don't care about himher. Luckily I slept with my son. The other day I literally walked out of my babies room to rock another baby to sleep because she cried for almost 20 minutes non stop since no one was giving her attention. In the evenings the people that make more noise are the nurses shouting to each other from one corner straight to the other corner. One would assume that the children would be the ones making a noise at night but no the nurses are the ones making a noise for the kids. When I got there I assessed the situation and asked myself why there were only african children there, that explains it. You will never hear so much noise especially in the evenings at kloof or Unitas hospital. Its just a huge disappointment.
