Never ever again

The worst experience at Medi-Clinic Louis Leipoldt.

I had an caesarean operation 17/12/2025 @ 13:00. The night shift nurse wanted me to keep the baby for a few hours. I cannot walk, but I must take baby out of the push cart. I am disgusted at the service I received from the night nurse at the hospital.

I finally got to move around. I went to change my pad and the pad bin was filled till the top. I thought there will be cleaners coming. To my surprise no-one came to clean the bin. On day 3 someone came to clean the bin.

I always had to press the bell for the night staff to bring my pain medication. Therefore, I was always in pain before I got the medication.

The food is not something they can be proud of. I came out of the operation room 15:05. I received supper at 18:00. My last meal was 06:00 the morning. The quality of the food wasn't to standard also. The time allocation wasn't correct. Breakfast at 9am, lunch at 12am , supper at 6pm. At 10 pm a sandwich is brought. With every meal, you must ask for something to drink.

What was over the top for me? The third night I asked the nurse to take baby to the nursery. I just wanted to rest a few hours. However, the night staff said no it's night 3 baby has to be with you whole night. So even when I need the toilet, I need to leave baby alone in the room and go pee. This was my biggest fear, I even left the toilet door open when I used the toilet.

Luis Leipoldt your patients are literally crying in their rooms , they cannot anymore. I have been with you guys for a few years and this was the worst. Never ever again!

Day staff was so much better. They helped and guided me with everything. I didn't have to ask for anything. Medication was given on time. You guys were Amazing!
