Morningside Mediclinic - No private ward bookings

At 36 weeks pregnant, I was just informed that Morningside Mediclinic no longer allows you to pre-book a private ward. I had my son at this hospital a few years ago and it was an option back then. I'm highly disappointed with this and had I known sooner I definitely would have rather opted for a different hospital. At the premium rates we are charged for this hospital, a private ward option should be pretty basic.
