MEDI CLINIC VEREENIGING

My wife was admitted to remove two .....kind of tumors, it was removed and a week later she was released from hospital, Medi Clinic Vereeniging. The sisters that work in Ward F we had the worst experience, they start to clean dustbins at 10 pm, my wife was lying in her room, it was very late one evening so one of the sisters sneaked into her room, and when she turned around making asif she was asleep the sister ran out, and again sending another sister later to see if she was asleep to get to her biltong or valuables ...... When they came to clean her wound the sister withdrew the fluid from her wound and ejected the fluid on the floor, worst of all is the floors are covered with carpet.

Your experience in this Ward F is that its a surgical ward, its sounds at night lie a psychiatric Ward. There was this old man, every 15 sec he sreams ..... help me , help me , The room next to my wife there was a elderly white lady, completely as we see in the old age homes the treatment she was receiving was ****, she was ignored by the staff, and Im taling about the night staff, its ridiculous how you feel as if these so called professional people maes you get the feeling that that's their hospital and whites are not welcome ..... your medical fund means nothing you get the feeling as these hospitals personnel treats you on a racial basis, and I experienced this myself

Now its the second time in 3 wees that these wounds gets infected, Dr. Mellet is on leave, he didnt even notify my wife last week that he will be on leave, she went to the Dr. Mofekeng that is standing in for Dr. Mellet now to withdrew the fluid that is in the infected wound, she waited more than a hour for him, after being of from work for 3 weeks , she waits another hour for the Dr. so she decides to leave, and the lady with no brain wanted to charge her a consultation fee.......

Seriously, why are we paying for Medical funds when the hospitals are getting in the same state and worse than state owned hospitals......

Im seriously considering legal action against the Dr. and the hospital, the hygiene in that hospital are to shreds. Medi Clinic Vereeniging will never see us again, its pathetic that a Dr. has to explain to a qualified sister how to cut a stitch, and still in English she does not understand. My compliments to George that is a porter there, he was the only person delivering satisfying service in ward F at night shift.
