Medi-Clinic Polokwane on public hospital standard

The issues I experienced were deeply concerning and fall far short of the standard I expect from a private healthcare facility.

Poor Service: The staff were unhelpful and displayed a lack of urgency in assisting sick patients, myself included. This was particularly disheartening, as one expects prompt and compassionate care in a medical setting. Despite repeated requests, my concerns were not adequately addressed.

Rude Staff: I encountered rude behavior from several staff members. Rather than offering assistance or comfort, they were dismissive and unwilling to communicate clearly. This behavior created an unnecessarily stressful environment for patients already in distress.

Unwillingness to Help Sick Patients: It was apparent that the staff were not making an effort to prioritize patient care. Some patients were left waiting for long periods with little to no communication or updates, and there was a general lack of attentiveness to patients' needs.

Unsanitary Conditions: The state of the facilities was shocking. The toilets were not in working condition, and there was no toilet paper available. This level of hygiene is unacceptable in any healthcare facility, let alone a private clinic that charges for its services. The unsanitary conditions added to an already distressing experience.
