Medi-Clinic Kloof, dont bother
The way my injury on duty case was handled in unacceptable. I was sent multiple requirements to complete, after which still resulted in the hospital questioning my and my company's intentions about the incident.
The hospital took it upon themselves to decide on behalf the Department of Labour that my claim would be denied instead of allowing due process to take place, this has caused unnecessary delays.
Even after after requesting that my case be escalated there was no urgency and my requests were not taken seriously, which is the overall theme of how the case and myself have been treated by the staff of the hospital.
It is unacceptable that I would have to contact management directly for the case to be escalated and for the necessary to be done.
I have followed process and laid a formal complaint with the hospital last week, using the exact same message that have typed above, I have received two calls that simply said that someone will get back to me and yet nobody has. Again, where is the urgency and seriousness?
Medi-clinic is in the health services business, I'm still waiting for the service part to appear.
