Medi-Clinic Capetown Sucks!

I walked into Mediclinic Capetown Casualty yesterday and was impressed at how I didn’t have to wait long to see a doctor. Little did I know there was a catch.

Doctor walks in asks what’s wrong with me and tells me I need to see a physician so he can run tests and find out what’s causing my leg pain. Got a measly anti-inflammatory and a prescription for mypaid and canesteen, meds I can literally get over the counter without a prescription. Like ***! On top my condition was coded green,like it’s not serious I could have waited to go see a GP.

Firstly I went to casualty so the doctor can run some tests and attempt to Atleast figure out what’s wrong with me. They claim to have sent my urine to the lab but will call me if I need to come get more medication ?. I have being to other medi-clinics and the casualty doctors go all out. They run blood tests and X-rays in an attempt to fix you up, by the time you leave you have all your results and the right medication and Then only will they point you in the direction of the specialist you should see, or even admit you.

Today I woke up and my feet look like sausages. Joint pain is getting worse. And my condition is a measly green! I wasted R220 cash I had to pay, my medical aid, my petrol and my time.

Medi-clinic Capetown casualty ?? Never going back there again.

Don’t know if the doctor was inexperienced, not as qualified or just plain lazy!
