Kloof Mediclinic Emergency Unit - Poor Service Delivery

My daughter had an ice skating accident earlier this evening. I initially took her to the Wilgers Hospital's Emergency unit, but due to the long waiting list, decided to contact Kloof Emergency Unit. The Reception Administrator confirmed that they were not busy at the time. I only needed a nurse to have a look at the wound to establish if it will be necessary for stitches. We arrived at aprox 00:15 and by 01:15, we still did not see a nurse or a doctor. At the time we were completing our application forms, there were no queues and I did not get the impression that it was busy at all. I requested feedback from the Reception Administrator numerous times as to how long it will take before a nurse can just look at the wound, and he kept telling me that he can not give me a time estimate - it could take ten minutes or two hours... I left the emergency room with the wound still untreated. I am more that willing to pay private medical rates for private medical service. The service I received tonight was definitely third world poor service. Kloof Mediclinic Emergency Unit is definitely not living up to its supposed good reputation.
