Dissappointed in Medi-Clinic

My children were scheduled for procedures tomorrow. However the Dr's rooms just called to advise me that the procedure was cancelled by hospital management due to positive covid test. Rhis ater i habe submitted all the proof that we all had covid in August and upon our consultarion with the Dr i advised him that we were severe cases. My son was too sick to get him out of the house to get tested therefore my GP took care of him, myself and my daughter were tested where i than ended up in ICU eventually. I was advised by the specialist when discharged that one can twst positove for months after having covid in which i now see and believe is their case but now Medi Clinic Cape Gate refuses my kids medical treatment due to a positive case. They are in so much pain and needed to get surgery tomorrow but had ro be rescheduled for January. There was no need to rescedule because my kids has no symptoms and are no longer contagious. We have been inside our house for almost two weeks since they have done writting exams. Why are they now being discrimated against for having had covid and being treated as they are contagious again! They are dieing of pain but this is not taken into consideration. Medi-Clinic have your hospital became so heartless and senseless! How many patients do you turn away that needs urgent medical assistance!!! Because of a test that still shows positive after having covid! They can not be helped now but can return in January without testing again, and who says than that they might not of contracted the new variant! Or do you expect to keep my kids inside the house until the 13th of Jan 2022!!! I am taking this matter up with the Childrens Commission for this is discrimarion against children's rights to receive medical help! I have had numerous fights with Medi-Clinic Cape Gate with my own admissions because their Main concern is money and not patients health. I am so dissappointed in this hospital. The only reason i make use of them is because they are contracted with my medical aid and i have wonderful doctors working there.
