Disgusting service from Mediclinic Panorama Day Shift Staff.
RE: Disgusting service from Mediclinic Panorama Day Shift Staff.
I was booked in at 14:30 on 10Jun2025 for a left shoulder (Clavicle) operation which was planned for 16:30.
After settling into ward F18, I was interviewed by the day nurse on duty and was asked, “Why are you here?” I thought, they are aware of me but uninformed of the reason why I was there. Nevertheless, my concern was that it took her 40mins to ask a few questions as her focus was not on me because she was simultaneously having another conversation with a ****orker.
I was taken for surgery at 16:30 and lost track of time at this stage for a planned 90min operation. At +/- 18:50 I woke up and asked the nurses in the recovery ward what the next process was and was informed that they would call the ward to collect me. This went on and on until 20:30 and at this time I had made up my mind to walk to my ward, as I was “dying’ of thirst, my throat was dry & sore after being intubated.
Apparently, the day staff did not inform the night staff that I was waiting for collection in Theatre recovery, as shift change was at 19:00.
After 21:00, I was fuming, no water, nothing, I decided to check myself out due to inhuman treatment from the DAY staff at Panorama Mediclinic but what stopped this exit, was my HIGH Blood Pressure of 180/104.
My daughter’s dog receives better medical care at a veterinary hospital compared to what I paid for at Panorama Mediclinic Private Hospital.
