**************** by MediClinic Stellenbosch
My daughter had a tooth infection and her mother took her to the dentist, Dr. Cecil M Baker in Paarl, on Friday, 28 August 2017. The dentist did not give her any antibiotics, only a mouth was and the charged me R 432.00, which I am also not very happy about. On Saturday 29 August 2017 I had to take her to the MediClinic in Stellenbosch. It was just after five o clock in the afternoon. I told the doctor on call that she had an infection in her tooth and that she needed antibiotics. The doctor just looked at her swollen jaw, asked her to open her mouth, and agreed with me. He then wrote a prescription for antibiotics. The whole check-up did not last longer than 15 minutes. MediClinic Stellenbosch charged me R 2095.00 for this. I am not happy about this, this is **************** to me. Surely, they cannot just charge you whatever they like.
