Clean, Kind and lovely hospital

I visited Kloof Medi-Clinic for a normal checkup and was hastily admitted for complications. Not only did the staff move mountains to find me a surgical bed in less than two hours , they were functioning like a well oiled machine. I didn’t have to deal with any concerns regarding paperwork or authorization as they did this for me. Post operation I was cared for so well that going home felt less exciting. No patients are allowed to get up without assistance as they are strict on prevention of falls, the call button works efficiently and staff come rushing to aid with a patience and kindness that exceeds understanding even at 2am. My blood pressure was dangerously low and I was monitored for constantly every hour through the night and Marmite ****tails were made and given. Handovers between nurses were done in front of patients and were thorough and respectful. Meals were very tasty and moreish. Coffee and tea were always available and lovely ice water as well. Facilities were pristine and modern with working safes at every bed and linen changed daily, sometimes more. Honestly, I hate hospitals but I wouldn’t hesitate going back to Kloof medi-Clinic. I feel well looked after and that they carry your best interests at heart without it feeling forced or like an obligation.
