Bad service received at the Bloemfontein Medi Clinic

We took our 20 month old to the Bloemfontein Medi Clinic ER with fever. We got there and the nurse did the observations but because his temperature then was 37.1 because he just had medication, they rated him green which means his condition was not serious. While we were sitting there for 1:30 hour, his fever went up again and he couldn’t stop crying. We watched as other patients walked in and getting help before us. When we asked why are they being attend before us we told that it was because their vital signs were more “serious” than our child’s, who by then couldn’t stop crying. Sister Miller who received us on arrival didn’t acknowledged the child at all, not even to come and ask how the child was doing, even the crying didn’t bother. I’m really disappointed at Sister Swanepoel, the Unit Manager who was in charge at the time. As far as I know, first preference should be given to small babies and critically ill patients.
