Attitude & Service
Wednesday evening my 19 month old son woke up screaming, went over and he was stiff and shaking and struggling to breath. Nothing worked and rushed him to the hospital (Medi-Clinic - JHB Sandton). When I arrived their was no one in the waiting room and went straight to the info desk and started to explain to the 3 people that were standing there. The gentleman stopped me and said we are fully booked and can't help you and started to explain where the other hospital are and also said if you have no luck their you can try and come back and we might be able to help you. I had no energy to make a scene and was shocked on the service I received and just jumped into my car and went to Netcare (JHB - Sandton) around the corner, where I walked in and there were a few people in the waiting area and they took my son straight in. I'm shocked and disgusted in that a big organisation like Medi-Clinic would refuse help to an infant...
