All about the money, ***** the patient

I was hospitalized on 19 Jan 2019 at Worcester Medi Clinic. after, my motorcycle accident. This was an unforeseen hospitalization , and I am well aware that my medical aid are obligated by law to cover the full cost. Medi clinic staff gave the wrong information to my medical aid, and they were informed that this was n planned incident not an emergency. While in hospital with a lot of pain and a lot of stress regarding my emergency surgery. The administration staff kept on hassling me with co payments. First the radiology staff informed me at my bed in front of nursing staff and other patients, That I have to make an immediate payment of R3500. Then the hospital staff informed me I have to Pay R6500 for my hospitalization. Very unprofessional and added a lot of stress on me. I find this unacceptable. Now I had to sort out the mess with the medical aid to get the payments waved. Medi Clinic does not care about the patients well-being. It's all about the money. Administration staff should be allowed in the patients ward.
