Toddler 5 months old and parents receives bad service

<p>Good day to whomsoever reads this review!</p> <p> </p> <p>(1) On the 9th August 2016 at approximately 15:30 my wife had rushed our 5 FIVE MONTH old baby boy to Medforum Hospital as his private parts started swelling to an alarming size. I was out on business and had to rush back to Pretoria in concern over our child. On arrival at approximately 18h30, three (3) hours later from the time he was admitted, did I find them only then drawing blood from our baby. My wife was not allowed to accompany our son into the room where blood was taken, the staff did not assure my wife that a new, or clean needle will be or was used to draw his blood, when I arrived I saw my wife and dad walk towards the room where this procedure was taking place on which I followed suit being greeted with hearth breaking screams of a 5 month old baby sounding more like screams that of a grown toddlers, the sisters had no compassion for our child by comforting him, my wife I and my ****her just by talking to our child did he come down. What was immediately evident to us was bruises he (this 5-month old baby) obtain on both arms as it seems the nurse taking his blood was/is *********** leaving him blue and purple.</p> <p> </p> <p>(2) After the first incident with the blood procedure we were rather concerned about the way our boy would be treated!!!! we requested a family room witch we would have paid for, there response was that all family rooms already was occupied, we then requested the hospital to assist us by finding a sister hospital that can accommodate my wife and FIVE MONTH OLD BABY with a family room, the sister went and called a doctor to assist in this regard, on which she returned +- 10 min later with DISCHARGING forms ( I did not know that a hospital will take offence by requesting a family room for care to my 5 month old son, witch we would have paid for.) We wisely declined that DISCHARGING FORM as it was +- 20:00 and no care yet was given to our boy, after we then obeyed their instruction that my wife not allowed to sleep over or sit all night with our child, did they put a drip on him to get the swelling down on his private part.</p> <p> </p> <p>(3) later on in the day’s older children was brought in to the same room as our son, which we did not have a concern about until one of the parents of the older children pointed out to us that her child has double BRONKPNEUMONIA and could be dangerous to our FIFE MONTH old. We then requested from the staff on duty what our concern's was, and their response was that their wards are full, when we then again said that we will rather have to move our child to another hospital the older children then was moved to another ward (Strangely a ward now was available for these bigger children.)</p> <p> </p> <p>(4) However most of our stay as we arrived at 07:00 in the morning till 21:00 at night our child was treated very well in our presence, from the time we leave till we came back God only knows what treatment he might have gotten.</p> <p>I personally will not recommend this hospital MEDFORUM to any parent with toddlers, the worst service we had ever experience.</p> <p>Get your act together.</p> <p> </p> <p>MR.
