Medela Maxi Swing breast pump bad customer servic

I bought the Medela swing maxi 2 phase electric breast pump from babyboom in Feb 2015. I only used it as a single pump until recently. When I used it for the first time as a double pump I relized that the one side was not working. It was pumping but not strong enough to express any milk. I took it in to Babyboom today. They could only test it as a single pump and not both sides at the same time and then the pressure was the same on both sides. But i would not be standing there in the shop with my crying baby in my arms for 2 hours if there was nothing wrong with the product.The Rep from Medela refused to replace the breast pump. She said we should test both sides by putting the pressure gage on the one side and my putting the other side on my bare chest! In a shop full of customers? That is crazy. I have paid alot of money for this product and expected the whole pump to be replaced but they refused. I am very disappointed with their customer service. I will never buy a Medela product again and will tell all of my friends about this experience.
